A man from Indonesia is walking 500 miles across the country to spread awareness about forest protection.
Maddie Bastoni, 43, started walking to Jakarta, turning his back from his village Dono in East Java. Maddy expects to reach Jakarta by traveling 500 miles by August 17, the day of Independence.

Maddy says environmental activists are doing a lot to protect forests in and around Mount Wales, but the symbolic planting by the president will raise awareness among the public.
