Malaysian authorities have banned the screening of “Haslers,” starring Jennifer Lopez, because of “too many pornographic scenes.”
Censorship authorities said in the ban that the film, which deals with the lives of striptease girls, is full of porn scenes, sexually exciting dances and drugs and is “unsuitable for screening.”
The film’s distributor in Malaysia confirmed on social media that the screening was banned.
The film has been very popular in the United States and the United Kingdom. But Russia’s censorship authorities omitted some scenes from it, and banned its display in Egypt.
The film depicts a group of girls, targeting affluent men and robbing their money.
